Hi guys! Sorry if I haven't been around to give any sparkling, witty replies and retorts over the past few nights, but it was my turn to try out the local hospital food......and it's getting better! Seriously, though, I doubt I'll be throwing any images up for a few days until I get caught up with things around here - woke up the other morning feeling like someone had their thumbs crushing my temples and painkillers failing to work all day. Phoned our medical helpline who decided I needed a quick trip to the hospital to get it looked at, where they found a temp of 39 deg. c. & decided I had an inflamation of the temple arteries. Nice few months on steroids and a biopsy of the artery needed. (yeah? cutting my head open with just LOCAL ANAESTHETIC? Gulp!) Good news - according to the specialist they were wrong. Phew! Bad news - they still don't know what it was, probably a virus. Considering this is virtually what happened 3 years ago and they put it down to a virus then too, I'm pondering life and it's meaning. Nah, that means making my brain work - I'm back at home & just taking it easy for a couple of days, and just flicking through the messages I've missed has made my eyes sore. Have fun without me, and I'll catch up with art life very soon. Take care, and don't do anything I wouldn't! M.
