Is there a way to export a Poser figure to OBJ file and have some items hidden? I'd like to import the figure to Bryce with a prop hidden. I can set it in Bryce as hidden but I'd like to have Poser do it for me.

To the best of my knowledge, no. The hidden option is more of a function of the software package you are using rather than a function of the OBJ file itself. Clint

usually you have to pick the items you want to export from poser, can you simply pick all the body parts except the ones you don't need? Davo

We also imported our figures into Bryce yesterday. We got troubles, because this *.obj was too big. We had to reduce in size this file. Think this is nearly the same basis. We did - Choose -> export Wavefront *.obj - the 'hier-listbox' (sorry have no translation for it) is coming up - choose the items you want by clicking the comboboxes - ..... follow through the next frames... - in the last frame before the export is getting started: We didn't choose any items there Greetings Matthias

make sure that you are doing a "single frame export". There should be a button that allows you to select that, and I think it's the default. Then when the heirarchy box shows up, de-select the "universe" button then select only the parts you want. Hope that helps, davo
