Good questions. I would be interested in the answers to the latter questions. With regard to the former, I just got the download version, but I have no idea if I'm "missing" anything and there seem to be tutorials and enough stuff to help. There is also a Extra Content CD that you download when you buy the software. That seemed to have quite a bit as well.
Along the same lines, any particular expansions that are "must haves" for Vue 6 Esprit?
Yes, you'll get both CDs with the download version, the manual is with it too, as pdf od course. If you want the cds and the printed manual, you can order those separately.
Regarding vouchers, I am not too familiar with, sorry. Too long ago that it happened to me.
Ecosystems? 6 Esprit can read by default pre-defined ecosystems, provided by others. If you want to manipulate or create ecosystems yourself, you need to buy the ecosystem module. But a word to that maybe, especially when you already have tried out the Vue 6 Infinite PLE version. Ecosystems for Esprit (with the Ecosystem module) are not exactly the same as they are in Infinite. Infinite has some special "Infinite only" features for the ecosystems. So what you will get for Esprit as separate module will be what was possible in Vue 5 Infinite. The major features are there, only one is missing, the paint ecosystem functionality is not.
"Must have" for Esprit? Hard to say, depends so much on what you want to do. I would start with Esprit and then read what the available extra modules will bring. Then start working with Vue and see what you are missing most. And then decide.
But if you tend to go "Infinite" anyway one day, do some calculations. And decide then, it may be cheaper to do the hard step in one go, and not update from Esprit to Pro Studio first, and from there to Infinite.
One day your ship comes in - but you're at the airport.
Musi, I can help with the voucher question. I recently got V6 Pro Studio, download version.
You get a $15 voucher to spend at Cornucopia 3d. When you go to Cornucopia 3d. you register you serial No with them (also remember to register at E-on).
When it has been registered at Cornucopia, in your account you will notice, will be an amount of $15 showing. Now you can shop with this at Cornucopia. Just choose you Cornucopia account when checking out.
I am not sure how long it lasts, maybe a month, but Cornucopia will notify you to use it when the due date is nearing if you have not already.
Also I do recommend getting the Richard Schrand book - Vue 6 Revealed, has tutorials to walk you through Vue. It is best to get this from Amazon.com, but the RMP here also has it.
The pdf file that comes with the download - you can also have this printed out for you, but only opt for black & while else it becomes expensive. The only colour in it is on some of the little graphics mainly, so black & while printing is just fine.
Hope this helps. Jan

I'm going to buy Esprit and have a couple questions... Do you get the full 2 CDs worth of content with the download version? As much as I'd like the printed manual, I don't want to wait for shipment. Are there any reasons why I should get the boxed version that I don't know about? Does the voucher have to be used up in one order, or can a leftover balance be carried over for later purchases? I want to make sure I understand about the ecosystems. This works in Esprit, right? I understand there is the expander pack Ecosystems. I also see in the demo there are certain materials that are ecosystem, whereas the others are solid growth. Do you have to own the expander to make use of these? Or does the expander pack just allow you to make changes and make ecosystems out of your own stuff? What exactly are the differences with ecosystem and solid growth? I'll appreciate anything else you want to inform or warn me of me of. Thanks.
