for the back, epsom salts,as warm as you can stand...three times a day just soak in there with a cold beverage. Was in a car wreck yesrs back and it did wonders.
Get better.

lol.......I recommend to STOP drinking when the cold beverage is gone......and let the epsom salts go down the drain.

pauljs75 ( ) posted Mon, 20 August 2007 at 1:16 AM

Drinking epsom salts are for internal blockage...  I don't think that's the problem. lol!

I think soaking in them in the tub is a whole other thing though...

Hi all, awsone work Bryster, my hubby thinks that *" the big hook/hitching thingy/couplings on the front...."*  is called a coupling/coupler, he does not think it is an 'auto coupler' as it may have been too early.

Sorry I've not been in for a while but I broke my right hand and have had it in plaster etc for 2 months. I have been avidly watching and look forward to each new posting so keep em coming, they keep sanity away!

So....who got to wear the bikini by the way and where are the pics!!! You could always pop downunder here, we could slap a few chops on the bbq for you while you parade the swimwear..

TheBryster ( ) posted Wed, 29 August 2007 at 11:47 AM · edited Wed, 29 August 2007 at 11:49 AM

Boofy! Hi!
Sorry to hear about your hand!

Your hubby is right. It is not an auto-coupler. We've never used those here in the UK. We call them 'couplings'.  Besides which I haven't done the hook yet..............

Thanks for keeping the faith. It's been very hard to carry on with this project, especially since the car crash, but I'm still hoping I can travel up to York to see the real loco in the workshop.

Bikini! Yeah right! Like I'm gonna wear a bikini................thanks for the offer of a meal though!

I'm definately going  up to York to see the real thing. Its the only way I'm ever going to get this finished!

Ray: Going better than that. I'm taking a digicamcorder. It takes 25fps. If I can get into the workshop for an hour with it..........you do the math....because I can grab any frame I want from any movie I make and print it out as a ref shot................

As it happens, yesterday I came across some new photos that had been posted on the net. They are axactly what I need to finish this particular part of the loco.
