Subject: Morphs on props/hair problem when animating

riskebiz ( ) posted Wed, 30 May 2001 at 10:09 AM ยท edited Sun, 17 November 2024 at 10:04 PM

I'm doing an animation project and I can pose out the morphs for the props I created (morphs created with magnets) and morphs I created for the hair (with magnets) along the animation timeline and everything is fine ... BUT ... if I save the file and close out and re-open the file again, all the morphs default to the original setting and even worse, everthing I posed out for them in the animation using the morphs are gone and even worse yet, the previous morphs channels are still there, but are being over-ridden by the this new default set. Everytime I redo the morphs and close out and re-open, a new default set shows up for the props/hair, etc and still leaving the now useless morph channels that keep multiplying everytime I have to close out and re-open the animations. Please help. This is a really important animation project. REALLY important.

Are these just magnets or did you spawn the morphs from the magnets? Are you using the Pro Pack?

They are just magnets and I am using the Pro Pack.

Okay there is a bug in the magnets within the PPP. Have you installed Service Pack 1?

No, I have not. Where do I go to get that? Do you know of any other bugs in PPP that I am not aware of ... yet?

Okay, I just went to Curious Labs and found it. Thanks.

There's a bug fix list included there I think.
