Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 14 4:48 pm)
I dunno, I was looking for the telltale Poser joint bending issues, and didn't notice them...

I'd say that is the mil baby.... but i could be wrong (i usually am at "guess the figure" games)
but i think its rendered in vue or lightwave. no matter how - it was very well done. - thanks for sharing the link!
(as for tell-tale poser joint issue.... there was quite a bit of postwork done on the movie, bet most of any of THAT problem got dealt with).... the foggy bathroom, for instance, was all postwork from what i could see (again, i could be wrong)
Rarer than a hairy egg and madder than a box of frogs....

hrm...it doesn't look like any of the mill babies...and it doesn't look like the cubed baby...It's possible it's custom made for the job. Has anyone gone to the website (and can read French) to check out the credits?

The film is 2 minutes long for the internet and 45 seconds for the TV spot.
GIMAGIN did the work for the video game but their site is under construction. Most likely all the characters where created in house for this. All I know is it's pretty frickin awesome and funny as heck!
definatly not the milbaby's diaper.
the one used in the video looks right, all the ones for the mill baby look like they were made by speedo.

It looks to me like all original work. The figures look better than any poser figures I've seen. I like the shape and proportions of these characters. It even makes a great reference guide for how figures are being shaped outside the poser community. Very cool.
My brain is just a toy box filled with weird things
NOT the Mil Baby or any Poser fig. It's easy to tell because Poser figures do not move or bend that well. They are not the least bit as flexible in animations. And it would take years to produce that type of quality in Poser. My guess no 3D program could do any of that work, unless it was done in Studio Max. Studio Max has slick animation, not Poser.
It's too good. Most likey done by a real Studio.

Not seen animation done in XSI then...or Maya for that matter ;0)
XSI can't be beaten as far as character animation goes, but IMHO from the example shown, I wouldn't say the animation is top notch...still good, but some of it looks wooden and without any weight.

--------------- A life?! Cool!! Where do I download one of those?---------------
from what i understand, there's a few different programs that could have been made in, even besides the big 3. the animation looks professional, but since professionals use lots of different tools, that doesn't narrow it down, imho. i've seen as good or better animation by Little Dragon (though not so long a piece), so it's possible with Poser. and the question doesn't affect rigging, because i think most pulling Poser figures into 3ds max and such re-rig the figure out of necessity.
that said, i don't think that's any Daz figure's faces on any of the figures, nor eF's. it just looks 3d, not specifically Poser, imho.

This is very well done. Is this a Poser/DAZ Studio animation? Looks like the Baby to me.
