For those that don't know about creepy downloads, it is a site to download props. I use the site for constructing scenes. I have only been able to access one page, and it is very very slow.  It is not only slow, but it only loads about half way then stops.  Are all the free props sites disappearing?  It was nice to be able to construct a scene with their props, for commercial use, and not have to worry about copyright infringement.

When you say Creepy PRops, do you mean Don Tatro's page? (Creator of Creepy the Clown)

He died a few years back. I assume his family got fed up with paying for a site, if it's truly gone.

If I remember correctly, some of the people in the usenet poser group are still making creepy clown's downloads available.

I think I was just there the other day when I was looking for a chain, and the site was working. Now it gives a 404 error. I hope it isn't gone :(

I didn't know he died.  It's been a long time since I've been to his site. Very sad when somebody so talented, and generous passes away. :sad:

I have most of the stuff from that site saved in my external runtimes. I collected all I could when I heard he passed away. The directory has 36 zip files totalling about 10 megs.

I noticed the site was down a while back when I was checking my links page, and it's been unavailable for some weeks. However the creepyclown.com domain name is still registered to one B.J. Tatro (a relative, I assume) so there may be hope. I've held off contacting them for now, not being sure if others were on the case. Meanwhile, Don's other gallery site is still up. No downloads though.

 I know what you mean.  I found his psychopics interesting, where he described mental disorder.  I found it strange, how many people I know that fit in these categories.  Although maybe not as extreme.

don was a psychologist working for an arizona state penal institution IIRC. as a result, he had good insights into aberrant behaviour as demonstrated by his charges. his brother was an actor who starred in a television programme of the 60s in the states.
