Subject: Ripples

Hi all I was wondering if there was a way to make pond ripples easily in a seascape

I have V5i

Go into photoshop or equivelant and with a white airbrush on black, draw your ripples...then blur it up with gaussian and apply it to a terrain. Place it in your water with the same material as the water and presto...
There are other ways but this is the simplest and most direct.....

Hi thanks for your reply and I have mode the ripple image as you suggested but I am stuck on the next bit of how to use it in Vue

Make it the same material as your water whatever that may be. Drop it on top of  your water plane/object and adjust it accordingly. (how far below the surface etc)
