Subject: Taking Bryce5 Preorders

I know some like to be the first when it comes to software. I used to order for the upgrades as soon as there was a hint of of any outfit accepting the order. Anyway, for those that just have to be the first to part with some cash, Computers4sure appears to be taking preorders for the upgrade to Bryce5. They have it listed at $134.99. Has anyone seen a release date for Bryce5? This could be a long wait on a preorder? The site www.computers4sure.com Have fun Dave

Not having heard of this company, I would be hesitant to place a pre-order with them. I'll do some checking to see if more 'known' resale/retail houses are offering a similar deal. :)

Actually they've been around for 4 years now. I did a little check at the BBB since they are a member there. www.bbb.org The only complaints were in 1998 for delays in shipping orders and delays in promised refunds and they were resolved. Not a bad record for any retailer. As always, read the ordering, refund and shipping policies of any retailer before making an order is wise. Have fun Dave

Far be it for me to skeptical, but the price seems to good to be true. Even with my Canadian exchange rate. If that is an accurate price I CAN'T WAIT! I was expecting 3 times as much and was slowly putting a little aside here and there in anticipation for the release.

I should have went to the site before I posted, 268 full, 134 upgrade. But since I have 4 I'm really hoping 134 for the upgrade is accurate.

I've also seen it at provantage.com. It's $126.28 for the upgrade there. I've bought software from this company before and have been very happy with their service. Just another option :)

I wished Corel would give out a little more info on what's new in Bryce5. I'm going to have to take a look at provantage. Thanks for the tip Kathie. Always looking for a better deal:) Have fun Dave

Does anyone know if Bryce 5 will run in Mac OS 9.X?

Is the upgrade price also valid for users of Bryce 3?
