Subject: Cow / Bull skull?

Acadia ( ) posted Tue, 09 October 2007 at 9:38 PM · edited Fri, 10 January 2025 at 9:14 AM

I thought I saw a free skill of a cow or a bull somewhere.  Anyone know which item I'm talking about? I know it was a free item.

I looked at Andi3D, and I see that there is a skull there but the image and link don't work. so I don't know if that is the one I'm thinking of.

I have seen the BoneZ at Daz but it's too expensive for a one time use so I want something that is free.

Ah, btu Bonez also includes yummy things like a Skull n Crossbones, (Which includes all the headmorphs), thigh bone "drumsticks" , can use all the Daz Skeleton textures, was JUST reduced in price, AND was ALSO put on sale for the entire month!

If you've got the Daz Skeletons, they are an excellent add on!

Another  possibility would be to use Royloo's Skeletal horse, and use the Daz RexPLUS or Dragon of Durden PLUS easypose horns on it. You could even use the Skeletal Horse morph set over at Poser Pros to accomodate the horns better. (Grin!)

There are some in the Content for P5 that is just perfect for my needs.  Thanks :)

Gareee, your package at Daz is really great, but I don't do much in the way of "macabre" except maybe once a year around Halloween.

I don't do uberly creepy renders much either.. that;s why I always include fun stuff in something like Bonez.

It was just FAR too easy an oppertunity to mention all th egoodies I have on sale over at Daz.. this is my favorite time of the year!

This is my favourite "holiday" too! It's pure fun without all of the stress and expense of Christmas.

yep.. only downside is I'm seeing less and less stuff in stores, and some stores this year don;t even have anything at all! They went from "Fall Harvest" items directly to Christmas!

I fear that year by year, we are loosing Halloween a little more.

Agreed. It makes me very sad. Our stores are already crawling with the beginnings of Xmas stuff. Halloween has always been my favorite -- the creepy, the costumes, the chocolate, the sitting up and telling spooky stories, the horror movie marathons on TV... the list just goes on. I do love that stuff. Other than the "everything under the sun is haunted, watch this re-enactment!" shows on TV that are inevitable, I've not seen much outside the Poser communities and the piles of candy just inside the door of the supermarket. It makes me buckets of sad.

Kmart here has a great section, as do the craft stores, like Micheal's.

Walmartr has stuf, but it ll looks like the same things carted out last season.

Target has the best section here, and some stores like Big lots or the dollar stores have next to nothing.

Walmart actally carted out christmas stuff back in August BEFORE the halloween stuff!

shuddertwitch Yet another reason to avoid Walmart. I'm lucky -- I have a wild costume closet and a stockpile of horror movies to play long into the night. grin We once had a handful of people who went really wild -- fun, not gory at all -- with their Halloween decor starting around the beginning of the month in the neighborhood. Sadly, though they're all still here, a new family moved in and was very, very, -very- vocally against Halloween on their personal religious grounds that people stopped putting things up much at all. (Doubly amusing, we had a pastor move in across the street from us. He and his family had no problem with the Halloween decor and actually do put some pretty seasonal things up. It's oddly comforting.)

download the gallows freebie from the link above - the cow-horns can be saved back to the library as a seperate prop. Think these may be a seperate OBJ as well.

Pinky - you left the lens cap of your mind on again.

Thank you!  That was the one I was thinking of.
