Or... why not just make a second skin and use the Material room to fix them onto the alien's (sorry, I mean Judy's) legs? You can get fantastic results with the Material room. And you'll get no poke through, either.
Coppula eam se non posit acceptera jocularum.
Wus, Sam thanks for your info. I'd like to try both ideas.
I haven't touched the setup room and this may be as good as any to try it. Wus, what is a transmap and how do you make one. I assume that what is left in the setup room is used, but where and how? If I can do that, maybe I can find more useful stuff to try there.
Sam, second skin, Yeah, I think I know how to do that!. I'll give it a try-might be bugging you again if I run into problems. Guys thanks again for the quick response. Plutom
Quote - Lol. Alien's legs. Good one Sam!
Well, yeah. Judy is ugly as a box of frogs.
Coppula eam se non posit acceptera jocularum.
She is NOT!!, she is one gorgeous critter, err I mean woman. Besides, its a little fun trying to get her to look like Jessica Alba--got a little problem doing that though. By the way Sam, you suggestion worked now I can get Judy purdied up.
Nancy, I'll give the displacement thing a try.
Wus, I tried the setup room thing, that room is scary--I'm really going to have to go slow in it since I don't know what I'm doing there--but what do you expect from a person that thinks Judy is purdy.
You might want to check out a little application in the market place called 2ndSkin by Dimension3D. You can find it here and it's great for making skin suits for all your character needs.

I've tried every which way to make dynamic stockings for Judy with limited success.
Here is what I've done, pulled up basic Judy, zeroed her, then made everything invisible but the thighs and everything below. Exported it as an .obj default setting. Brought it back in again as an .obj.
Fit it as much as I could to the zeroed Judy figure. Opened up the cloth room, new sim, number of drapes 15, cloth self detection, 30 frames.
Item clothified, the .obj,
.5 on everything. frame zero, zero pose, frame 30 a walking pose. Then when I start it and when its finished it looks like worn out wrinkled thigh length boots that have slipped down below the knees. Tried it with one leg, tried it with both legs--
I'm told that if there are any intersecting verticies, it wouldn't work.
I couldn't tell if an intersection from a Dingo's kidney if they bit me on the nose?
Anybody got any ideas?
