Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 26 6:57 am)
Well, this may seem funny, I've been able to do it with almost every dynamic dress in the freebie section (didn't want to do it and began condemning Poser etc to the very depths of hades). Try misaligning your dress right at the chest level and you will get a striptease unfolding before your eyes with the top part crumpled just below the breast level.
This is not the fault of the freebies, they are wonderful and I wish I could do them. It's what's called SOE (stupid operator error). Plutom
It's ok to say "Renderotica", you just can't post a link to it.

hehe, kind of like my unintentional one in this thread?

I got that effect without even trying. I think it had something to do with the cloth density.
Here are some links that give settings for various types of cloth:

Oops, one other thing you can do. After you get the pose you want, do the magnet trick. Here is how its done (at least in Poser 5).
--Click on the dress, then on the top row (File, Edit, Figure, Object, Display, Render, Animation, Window and the useless Help-click on Object and then Create Magnet
You will get a big Honking red horseshoe consisting of the big red horseshoe, a shunt bar at the magnet's base and a weird circle outline. All three are very important.
The circle is call the magnet zone, everything in that zone will be deformed is where you place it is extremely important, move it to the part of the dress that you want to move and adjust the x,y,z adjustments to what you want moved and nothing else eg the front of the dress at the bra level where you want the front end moved and not the back.
Now that big red nasty horseshoe, click on that and with its dials adjust the y coordinates and you will see that portion of the dress move, you don't have to move it too far just a little off the shunt.
Now here is where the neat thing come in, this is the place that you get rid of the horseshoe, shunt and nasty circle that's cluttering up your scene--click on Spawn Morph Target and name updown. Now click and that Nasty big red horseshoe and hit delete.
You will now have a new dial called updown-adjust the dial and you will see that dress portion go up and down--if you don't have everything going down-simply delete the dial and start over making minor adjustments with both the nasty red horseshoe, circle or both to get the results you want.
Try it on conforming clothes, it should work on them too
Additionally, on your curvaceous cutie, should work on her too same procedure. Jan
now Aery Soul plus other has morphs were you can show the top more. Are we alowed to say tits?

It also helps to begin the procedure with the dress above the chest level with most of the dress on the figure even if you have to increase the x, and z sizes of the dress. By the way,, Judy of Poser 5 fame can also use all of Vicky's and Victoria's stuff and looks great on her. In fact, old Don of Poser 5 fame may be able to use them too---no I haven't opened him up and tried--oh gad what a sight that would be, I'd have folks here washing their eyes out with sand. Plutom
The dynamic strip tease occurs when people don't add the proper constraints to their dresses. Obviously it can be used on purpose if you're so inclined.

Hi,
Does anyone know of a dress (preferably for one of the Victorias, but Aiko or Stephenie Petite is fine also) which has a morh which pulls the top of the dress down below the breasts? I've seen various tops with such a morph, but not a dress.
thanks
