Not Sure I would agree with that Dave. Rivers are some, the most beautiful features of any landscape... Or we could end up with far too many Genre titles .. Like Mountains etc next!

Yeah...I think the landscape genre works well for that type of image..

It depends on the images. For instance, most of Valetin's misty rivers scenes work really well in the Atmosphere Genre.

Then we'd probably need a genre for each of the other 3 elements as well. ;'] Good thinking though. I concur with Diane that we should not clog up the menu's with too many genre's. Rather, keep them general enough to handle more images. If at some point Rendersity has sub-genre's, then I could see the "top" level being streamlined and a lot more subs being added. Nothing like that is in discussion though.

Yes nothing like a discussion regarding any improvements coming to that ..

Interesting discussion.
I do not want to open a new thread for my question because I think I can post it here.
What do you think about a genre called "Panorama"?
For example for some shots like this one:

Hmmm, I do not thing that a Panorama is a Landscape.
I can make a 360 degrees panorama from a room f. e. as well and I wouldn't call this a landscape.

Rivers/River Scenes. Mine and other who take photo's of rivers put them into landscapes. It's not really right but it's the closest we can get.
