Much of Yannek's work is hand painted, so I strongly doubt you'd get very close to that result even if you had that texture ;)  You might PM him and ask though...

Usually Janek makes her(?) own character morph, and she lately worked with V4. Perhaps you could PM her(?) to know that? I would be interested too to knwo her(?) answer...
If you browse her(?) gallery, you could see that she(?) has a damn good sense of beauty! :woot:

It looks like it was a personal project and not commercially available.

You can get her Marilyn morph though

Daz should correct the spelling of the name...

Acadia ( ) posted Sat, 20 October 2007 at 7:17 AM

The spelling isn't wrong. She goes by "Janek" at Daz3d and Yannek here.  I think "Janek" is the Americanized spelling of "Yannek".

Oops, evidently I made the wrong assumption about gender!  :blushing:

Has a Jamie Lee Curtis look to her.

'Janek' is a Polish/Slovak dimunitive form of a name 'Jan' which is equivalent to Anglo-Saxon 'John'.

I would maek a different assumption, regarding the gender of the artist ;]

I think it is disingenuous of Daz to use CGISociety-type custom mesh/painting for their lead pictures, even if he/she used V4 as the base.

That image, also has an air of celebrity imitation to it. Imitating celebrities seems to be more popular than I thought.

I absolutely agree with that. That could be considered "false advertising" because there is no way for the average joe who is using just the Daz|Studio or Poser programs to achieve that result. And I know that many look at those image and want to be able to do that kind of thing.

When I first bought Poser (Poser4) I was intrigued by the image on the box. You know, that circus character, and all the flowing cloth and hair, etc.

I think that was actually a promo for Poser 7! I could not find the button to get that image in Poser 4 for the life of me.
