Subject: Anyway to make objects solid so other things cant intersect them?

Is there anyway to make it easier to pose something  forexample -somebody lying on a chair ,

to have Poser , restrict any translation movement or any other joint movement that causes the person to intersect the chair?

thanks

You might try using "Collision."

Remember that it must be ON for:
1 Both objects

  • and -
  1. The scene

How do you turn collisions on for the whole scene? I've never been able to get the "collisions" to work, but I haven't been turning them on for the whole "scene" either, just the objects I don't want to intersect with one another IE: cup and table etc.

Hi Acadia,

Collisions (for the whole scene) are turned ON using the method shown in my previous graphic. (above)

In addition, in the "Object" >>> "Properties," (window) ... you must have the "Collision detection" checkbox {X} checked for BOTH objects that are involved.
