Subject: Problem with Poser 7 morph tool and Victoria 4.1

nabob21 ( ) posted Mon, 22 October 2007 at 9:40 AM · edited Tue, 24 December 2024 at 8:10 AM

Hello,

I tried to use the morph tool on Victoria 4.1 yesterday and every time I selected the tool and then clicked on Victoria, Poser 7 crashed to the desktop. I do not have this problem if I use the E-F figures or V3 or V4.0, only with V4.1. Has anyone else had this problem, and if so, is there a fix for it?

Thanks for any replies.

Have you updated your Poser to SR 2 ?
Also uncheck in General Preferences "use external binary morph targets".
Hope it helps .

Hello alizea,

Thank you for your reply but I have done both of the things that you suggested. Further exploration over at the Daz forums seem to indicate that ther is a problem with some of the V4.1 morphs, so I may have to wait for an update to V4.1 to appear. In the meantime however, I am still willing to try any other suggestions.

The main difference between v4 and v4.1 is the eyebrow as a head part  -try to show it -by default is a hidden part .

I read something about this on the DAZ forum.  It has something to do with an error in the cr2 file.  I think DAZ has updated it though, just reset your downloads and re-download V 4.1.
