Attached Link: Poser Content Manager

I've just released a little utility program I use to manage my poser stuff. It's free (source code is available too, so anyone who feels like improving on it, feel free) and maybe it can be useful to other people too. If you like it or have ideas for improvements, I'd love to hear about it :-)

thanks...in a backhanded way, I'm actually finding Daz Studio finds things better than Poser...just doesn't do everything Poser does..;)

Appreciate it.

that I don't know...I only have the one Runtime (I just got Poser reloaded on Sunday, so I'm still stocking the shelves..;) D|S will give you the option to search for Runtimes, and when it finds them, you get a display with all the rsr's, and the explanation under it. Well, I'm more interested in the project than the tools, if'n ya know what I mean..;)

The archive unzips to give me an executable, a readme text file, and an XML file.

I hacked the XML file to refer to my own path to Poser7, and hacked the path to a new archive folder I created for the PAC file.

I ran the app, and it does appear to scan Poser's folder structure correctly, so the feedback in the window tells me.

However, no file gets written and I can't find any PAC file anywhere.  According to the readme, there should be this archive file appearing after the content has been scanned by the app.

I apologize, it is my poor explanation in the readme that is the reason for this confusion. PCM does not list the stuff already installed in your poser runtime. It works like this: You run it, let it go through the first scan, then you install something new into your poser runtime (still keeping PCM running), and then you press F12 to create a PCA file for those files you just installed. This way the PCA will serve as a more easily browseable replacement for the installation package you just ran to install stuff into your poser runtime. I'm just realizing that this is probably a bit unusual, but it was what I needed. Sorry for the poor explanation.
