Subject: Strange Poser behaviour after DAZ install

Strange Poser behaviour after DAZ install I'm having a problem in Poser7 with my cursor trying to (seemingly trying) to render a small square as it's dragged across any area in the PREVIEW MODE of a scene I'm working on. The cursor lags and the apparent "rendering" is annoying. (it's about 20x20 pixel square that follows the cursor around) I never noticed this until I installed the latest DAZ3D (1.8) just to see what they were up to these days. When I saw the problem, I deleted DAZ. How can I fix POSER7 to stop this cursor problem... Poser 7 MAC thanks

It's a TRAP!

Way too many people take way too many things way too seriously.

Have you tried resetting to default options? That clears up weird quirks for me usually :-)

Yes, I tried reseting defaults-- problem still exists --that was one of my first thoughts to try...

Sounds like a Open GL issue.. see if the behavior disappears when you switch to ScreeD. If so, reinstall your Video Driver. If that does not fix the issue or the ScreeD does not change things, contact Poser Tech Support at e frontier.  Most likely had nothing to do with DAZ specifically. (Installing anything with AV Scanning, Phishing Prevention, etc.. can mess up any installation or cause an installation to mess up a Computer. I did it to mine the other week installing a Demo Program off of a Magazine Cover Disk. Forgot to turn off the Auto Scan and Update... right in the middle of the install.. locked up my PC.. had to Hard Boot it and boy was it messed up when it finally booted up. (Still have to reinstall my Wacom Driver every few days!
