I think that making copys from images direct from this site is not worth it..
At 72 dpi and 9/10 compacted images the print quality is to low for a good print.
And you should always buy the copyrights and pay the "10" prints price in advance.
Or how else did you think some one keeps track of the sale's
Flying in from the US once a month to check the sales
Sure some people do like to earn some money so do i ... but sooooo many people get ripped off too :{
Whats the store your selling in ? maybe we can check the store online etc etc..
Make a price offer ... dont ask for whats a good price ... 100.000.000 a piece is a GOOD price :lol: not ?
Got more info ?

True,
Need loads of dpi and just copying stuff is not an option.
The site is not online yet, will give a shout if it is. Will also include info for the artists on it, make it transparant, etc.
For the price i was thinking 450,- US dollars (310euro) for 10 A0 prints
and 290,- US dollars (200euro) for 10 A1 prints

I found this site yesterday and have been clicking like crazy eversince. There's loads of amazingly good work here. As a student in Art-history i sell photo's from friends on an art market in Amsterdam once a month. It would be great to sell some artwork on this art market and/or on a site for the dutch market. The idea behind it is that both parties profit so that it would be a good way for an artist to support their hobby financially and for me, eventually, make my hobby, working with art, my job.
But what is a reasenoble price to offer? Works here took loads of hours, seems difficult to just put a price tag on it.
Besides that, i did mention i'm a student :p Its also mostly for about 5 till 10 prints per photo. So it wont be practical to buy copyrights i guess. An option would be to pay a price for every print. But then again, how would the other know i'm not making thousends of them?
Am also curious about what you would think about the idea of having your work copied and sold. After all, art is not a product but something which has a symbolic reference and exists of idea's and patterns. It should keep this authenticity.
Any answers, ideas or advice are welcome!
