Subject: Does Puppet Master work on V4.1?

Hello,
Has anyone used Puppet Master to transfer poses from V3 to V4.1? I saw an ad for it at CP, but I did not see where it explicitly said it could handle V4.1 (the ad says "Vickie" which is rather broad). Is there anything cheaper that just works between V3 and V4.1?

Thanks as always
Mark

Poser 7 includes Puppet Master as part of their Universal Pose system.

There is a link in PhilC's forum for specific V4 support for the standalone product for earlier versions of Poser.

It appears that Poser 7 is automatically adjusting poses for any figure while the standalone version could have pose files set up for new figures. The manual procedure would probably be more accurate.

My visual indexes of Poser content are at http://www.sharecg.com/pf/rgagnon

Okay thanks. I'll read up on it some more.

Puppetmaster was sold to EF before the release of Poser 7 so Phil no longer provides tech support it.  The problem is, there has been no update for it for Poser 7.  If you have P6, it works fine.

You could trying writing to PhilC anyway. He's a great guys. ^^ There is a way for you add any figure you want into PuppetMaster. The tools are there in the menu. I personally have not tried it.
