Thanks for the heads up! :-) I'm glad they are doing this, but 15 days? I'm already wondering is 30 days on the Truespace 5.1 fully functional trial will be enough to decide if it's what I'm looking for and deserving of my cash. The Rhino demo is fully functional, but limited to 25 saves or exports. That's better for learning the program, but it's an interesting experience to work for a couple hours on tutorials, then exit with out saving what you've accomplished because you don't want to spend a save on it! :-) I don't know what you are supposed to be able to learn about a product in 15 days, but it's better than nothing! I guess you should just be sure you will have some spare time before you start your trial...
It took me several years to become an functional novice. I started with Max 2.0. I can't afford Max 4.0, so I'm sticking with 3.1 Discreete should rethink the 15 day trial. I know a little about Max, for instance, I know that's just long enough to remind you that you will need to invest time and money in MORE training. On the other hand, Max is a teriffic piece of software, so if Discreete can get more new people into the fold... That's so much the better for us all!

I am a Max4 user myself - but I find that I am looking at Truespace 5 for the renderosity support. It looks yummy :) There is a 30 trial of Truespace available.WOW! That looks like ACTUAL painted miniatures.
