National Space Society Art Calendar Contest!!!

Hello, my name is David Robinson but you may know me as Bambam131 here at Renderosity. I would like to invite anyone that is interested to take a look at this link http://www.nss.org/settlement/calendar/ and to enter this years Space art calendar contest given by the National Space Society.

We have some excellent prizes that I think anyone that wins would really enjoy. You can see the prizes at the link above.

So if any of you space enthuses are out there and want to get your artwork displayed in a venue that deals in the advancement of space exploration please take a look at the link above.

Remember that all entries have to be in by Dec 31st 2007 so get your thinking caps on and show us what you got. I look forward to seeing some excellent work coming from Renderosity this year.

Best regards,

David Robinson (aka) Bambam131

How to sponsor it? I'd like to sponsor with a copy of PD Pro as prize.

Here's a few space things painted in PD Pro:

Hm,... I must be going blind, I didn't see no rules. I mean I understand that the contest is about space colonies, settlements in orbit or on planets and Moon, but what did you mean? No room for additional sponsors?

I'm quite fond of Astronomy myself, watched that exploded comet again last nitgh (it's grown big), and did create the Univelt.com website - some live webcasts of solar eclipses too, www.thebest3d.com/eclipse98  and www.thebest3d.com/eclipse03 for example

anyway let me know if it's closed to external contributors or if I missed something else that might seem obvious to you but went past me.

Hope this has been helpful.. ...

Once in a while I look around,
I see a sound
and try to write it down
Sometimes they come out very soft
Tinkling light sound

thanks, but these are the contest rules for submissions. Not what I was inquiring about.

I'll just contact the person listed there as email.

BTW - I noticed an attempt to reduce spam by way of spelling it as artcontest2009 at nss.org  -  but the link it's attached to is still the mailto:... address, any robot will bpick this up.

ROFL, @ orbital & **TheBryster.

**Hey this might even be something I might be able to try, er, not the balloons - exciting though that might be, I mean the competition.

I've even just posted something along those sort of lines, although it might be a little too urbanished.
