Subject: Pro Show Gold

I got pro show gold last week and seem to have got completely immersed in it.
The local camera club done a promo on it, I got a copy, and have spent the last week putting some of my photos to music and adding all sorts of great motion effects, fades, zooms, pans etc.
Great stuff, I'm still trying to get to grips with it though, and  my wife is in a bit of strop because I've not been watching "I'm a celebrity get me out of here" with her all week,  but so far its great fun and a very impressive program. (Pro Show Gold, not I'm a celebrity)
The only thing I was wondering about was, when I copy to CD to play on the TV, the quality of the picture on the TV is ..well .. not what I hoped for.
Does anyone know if this is to be expected, or is there something I can do to improve the image quality when copying / playing the  CD on the telly?
Also theres a sort of contest on soon at the camera club using Pro Show Gold and I'm not sure if the quality will be as poor when shown projected on the big screen there, as on my  TV at home?
I've only got a CD writer so cant copy to DVD.
Any help would be appreciated, I need to get this PSG out my system so I can get back into RR again properly!

Well you could resize beforehand instead of letting Proshow do it. You could also uncheck 'apply anti-flicker' , this option slightly blurs the image. If the thing is going to be projected on a screen by a computer I wouldn't choose the DVD option, but just let it create a slideshow exe or something.

Its a brilliant program. Its what i use to creat musical dvd slideshows for couples i shoot weddings for. as for the quality you talked about, trust me when i say, coping onto dvd disc ( even though taking longer to copy than cd disc) would 100% give you better quality than cd disc. When u have time, just click on the link above to view some of what i have done.

Watching paint dry would be more interesting than watching "I'm a celebrity get me out of here"

Thanks , I followed your link, these are just excellent, well done.
I've had some bother with my CD writer, it does'nt seem to want to play anymore.
Anyway I stuck my first attempt online, see what you think...
