Hey Anton. It's been slow around here...with the exception of the the infamous, "Micro takes over Poser" thread. That's seeing a lot of action. I wonder if it'll set a record for the thread with the most replies?

:)

Perhaps 2008 will open up a whole new "Poser for Cell Phones" section.

I look at it like this, Though e-frontier didn't add much to the Poser design, though the morph brush is wonderful, they did hand it off much more stable and stong, as software, than they received it.

Hopefully the new company will take fearless leaps forward in development with fresh people who aren't afraid or bored. But even if they don't, at least Poser was handed off. I do think the cell phone stuff was what they are really after, but I think it is a good thing. I think e-frontier took Poser as far as it was ever really going to go in their hands.

It was interesting that ....

"e frontier had total revenues in excess of $7 million for their fiscal year ending March 2007."

That's everything they have, and not really a lot. But considering the sale for for $6 mil and included Poser, they got a good deal. Investors usually want turnaround, so a sale at this time is pretty much expected, though rumors had been flying for weeks.

Now we need Cell Phone screen saver export from Poser I think. :)

K back to Cocoa and my book. Yeah Slinger, poke me if Vicki shows up at the new Content Paradise. :)

Anton, there was also this cool thread the evolved into a free-wheeling debate on the Theory of Relativity vs Quantum Theory.

It was going great, but all of a sudden Quantum Theory was sold to the Walmart. They are promising development will continue and no users will be left behind.

I really like the new version of Face Shop Pro. While Apollo works in the Poser Face Room, Face Shop is light years superior and I'm looking forward to creating some Apollo characters in there.

Hey Anton

How are you doing?  Great,  I hope!   As for the Poserverse,  rumor has it that the new owners are going to turn it into a "Conform to"  rigging plugin for Lightwave!

Cheers

Pat

If you like Face Shop Pro,  you'll have a blast with Apollo. He works really well with these types of programs.

Hey Patorak,
Aye things are great. Thanks. Just insanely hectic lately.
