Subject: Greyhound Model

We just had to put our 12 year old Greyhound to sleep. I'd like to do a memorial picture of her. Does anyone know if there is a greyhound model out there? Free or not. Poseable preferably but I'll take a static model if it will work in Poser.

Sorry to hear about your loss. I was going to suggest www.capsces.com, but then I realized they had a 9-lives morphing cat and not a dog. Maybe it was bloodsong that had the morphing dog project? -Jeff

heyas; yes, it was me who made morphs for the dog head. they're at my goodies site, above. lyne was working on creating some breeds with those morphs, but i dont believe she's done a greyhound yet. you can find lyne's dogs at www.3dmodelworld.com

Thanks. I'll see if I can't make a decent greyhound with them.

Try starting with the weimerener (?) model at Lannies 3D World; http://www.3dmodelworld.com ....it probably has a good texture for a greyhound. Sorry for your loss.... Scarab

I am sorrier than I can say to hear about the loss of your beloved dog, krakadarr. I wondered if there might be any modeler out there who would consider making "portraits" of beloved dogs on commission? Just an idea, but I have an idea that there might be more people than myself out there who would dearly love to include a beloved canine companion in Poser compositions.

krakadarr - very sorry to hear of your loss. That`s a nice idea, sparrowheart. We are a "doggie-friendly" family, and I would imagine that making some quality renders of that nature should be do-able. Anyone is interested, please drop me a line. sunscape@btinternet.com
