hi everyone, i just bought rons splashes for cs2 and i have placed them in the brushes folder of cs2 ,but im a bit stuck when it comes to finding them when i launch the program. i dont think they actually come as 'rons brushes'  can anyone help me? much appreciated.

In your brush list you'll find them as 'rons_splashes'. You should find them in your presets folder as '...presetsbrushesrons_splashes.abr'. If that file isn't in that folder, you'll need to put them there.

You can also load them by using the "Load Brush" option or "Presets manger"

If you go to the Edit menu, near the bottom of the drop down list click on Preset Manager and it will bring up a window. Click on the 'load' button and navigate to your brushes folder to load the brushes.
