Subject: Animation and sound

Hi all,
I have Poser 5 and as soon as I can afford it, I will upgrade to 7.  In the meantime, I need to do some lipsync and other sounds.
The manual that came with the program, is worse than useless.  It says that, when I import sound,  a sound range will be at the bottom of the animation palette, and there's nothing there. How does on make it appear?
I want to see the soundwave and the pic simultaneously in order to match sound and pic.
Can anybody please advise?

The animation palette only has a bar that shows a range that the sound will cover. The sound wave only shows up in the Graph view.
