*male turkey photographed on Cumberland Island, like the chicks and mother in my gallery shot, but too blurry to post there* I just wanted to wish all those celebrating it a very Happy Thanksgiving. May you eat until you explode, and then eat some more. Let us also take a moment to remember those who may be less fortunate than ourselves, and how blessed we really are in this life. Feel free to post any holiday related photos here to share with everyone as well. :) ~Kort

Here is a shot of some of my co-workers feasting at our office pot-luck this week.

And every one said, 'If we only live,
We too will go to sea in a Sieve,---
To the hills of the Chankly Bore!'
Far and few, far and few, Are the lands where the Jumblies live;
Their heads are green, and their hands are blue, And they went to sea in a Sieve.

Just one...more...leeetle...waafer....LOL.. ...

Once in a while I look around,
I see a sound
and try to write it down
Sometimes they come out very soft
Tinkling light sound
The Sun comes up again

Yes, turkeys like to eat pumpkins.

Wonderful holiday to all!       Tom.

These are real turkeys, not the white feather grocery store breed.

Chris, yes, lots of holidays but only a few the regular working folks get to have off work..well, unless you work at a bank...they take all of them!   Well, all enjoy today, working or not. : )

We to to the mom-in-law's house, everyone but the bums bringing some goodies for the table.  They say each year, be there by 1 pm and we eat at 1:30.  Every year we eat closer to 2:30..I stay out of the kitchen with so many cooks in there at one time.  It is a dangerous place for a wandering man to venture.   It shall be nice and fun.   Tom.
