L-dibbs ( ) posted Tue, 20 November 2007 at 1:59 PM · edited Fri, 29 November 2024 at 9:34 PM

Hello Market Manager,
I purchase an item from the market place. Order# 111307951, I make sure I apply my Gift Certificate Code, but was charged full price for store item.. Information say my certificate not good, but date show it is good until 11-30-07.    Please help with this purchase!

GinaH ( ) posted Tue, 20 November 2007 at 2:28 PM

Hello

Make sure to copy and paste the code into the "Gift Ceritificate' area and not to leave any leading or trailing spaces. Please let me know if you continue to have problems.

Thanks

Gina, this problem is not fix.  It show my credit card to be charged FULL price.  I can not GO BACK an reset my purchase.   I should not have to pay the extra $5.00  for the gift certificate that you offer for free...I should be reimburse off my credit card, an my purchase only be $6.96 NOT $11.96, if this is a 'GIFT' . You see my problem???..... I would not have purchase any item at this time, if I have know that it was not truly a $5.00 off coupon gift...

Unhappy customer,
L-dibbs

It was not a coupon, it is a Gift Certificate, and needs to be entered in the Gift Certificate box, not the coupon box.  The code is good and will apply if you enter it in the Gift Certificate box.  The only thing we can do at this point is to wait until Monday (when the programmer is back in town because it's a holiday week here in the US), and credit back your card for $5.00 and have the programmer manually expire your Gift Certificate.

Debbie,
Yes this word 'coupon' is MY mistake, for I use wrong word. an  I DID insert the code in CORRECT box that say 'Gift Certificate'. I check it three time before I hit continue.. The code was correctly place as instructions explain by 'Front Page advertizement'...

I did not want to point finger, but I see many  users have this same problem, so I think it must not be ME. maybe it the mistake of Renderosity this time. ..

Please 'CREDIT BACK the $5.00 to my credit card'..... an that will be great fix for the problem..

Yes, there are others reporting problems, but when I log in as them and apply the code to the Gift Certificate area, the system accepts the code.

As stated previously, the programmer is out of town until Monday, but we will definitely credit your account for $5.00 and expire the GC code on Monday.

Hi,

Just to confirm that the code is in fact good, I logged in as you, placed an item in your cart, went through that part of the checkout process, and the code did in fact apply to the order.  I of course did not continue with the checkout, but wanted to let you know that I did troubleshoot your problem, and there isn't any error with the code.

You're very welcome :)  I do apologize for the slight delay, but the programmer took some extra days off this week around the holiday to travel home.  I'll make me a sticky note to take care of it with him on Monday, and appreciate your patience.

Hope you have a Happy Thanksgiving!

What browser are you using?  Just so I can try to isolate if it's a certain browser problem?

Thank you!

Hi **Silver-Luna,

**I'm going to remove your "unpaid" order so you can try again.  Please be sure that there are no leading or trailing spaces when you paste the code, and be sure you're entering it in the "Gift Certificates" box and hitting the "apply" button before proceeding.

Please let us know if you have any problems.
