Subject: Looking for clothing

Anyone know where I can find some pulp-style clothing (20's or 30's) for a police detective, gangsters, etc?

For which character?

Poser is built according to the word FOR

Lo-rise jeans FOR Victoria 3
Dollah hair FOR Mike 2

etc. You can sometimes mix and match a few things, but it usually requires a 3rd party program like Wardrobe wizard, Cross-dresser (funniest name since inculator...but I'm easily amused)

Now Acadia is going to send the thread a 3 page email on details, but a quicky introduction;

Freestuff here - just narrow the search to poser (or Daz|Studio), and what character you have
                            you can search for you character according to the following 

A1-3,V1-4,M1-3, H1-3 - these are usually Daz3d figures. Daz3d is a good place to start
MD is usually Maya Doll - Studio Maya is also good place to start
Sixus1/Poser Freebies/ - lots of characters there, and clothes to match
Apollo Maximus - free, and clothing links on or near the site.
and many more. Content Paradise, Runtime Dna, the list goes on. Just give us something more to go on, and we'll clue you in...;)

Thanks for the reply. Any character, really. Sorry, I should have made that obvious. I've got most characters, so I can work with just about anything.

Searched here both in the marketplace and freestuff, nothing. Haven't made the rounds to other places yet, just wanted to post here and see if anyone knew.

www.poserworld.com which is a pay site has a zoot suit among other things... retro waitress. etc.

http://iso.power.ne.jp/ has some suits under "PROJECTS" that would work maybe...

Unfortunately I could never get it to download. The server seems incredibly slow/non-responsive.

bnetta posted a solution for someone in that thread. It involves using  a download manager. She links to one.
