Subject: OT - Alpha & Beta Testers Required

I was wondering if anyone'd like to test my "Poser Asset Management" application, to be released here at R'osity?  In exchange, you get a full licensed copy for yourself and help in the development process with feature requests, etc.

What'd ya say ... huh, huh!?

By "Asset Manager" do you mean it's a program that helps you keep track of your poser inventory? If so is it for installed content in your runtime only, or does it extend somehow to being able to catalogue all of your purchased content for easier locating?

I'm pretty slow at picking up how to work new programs, but if it's relatively easy to use I can probably help you out.

be sure to get references from yer testers, as some may just sign up for the freebie, and not provide any error detection, the result of which may be a bug-filled first release.

I've got Poser 4-7 and DazStudio on my machine.

I have P5, P6, P7 and DAZ Studio and have tested for other merchants here.  I can supply references if you need them.  I'm, also, a vendor here so count me in.

Some Information

The target platform is Windows only at the moment, with it's own database engine within the .exe, so no driver installation headaches.  The crux of the applications is to manage all of your Poser assets/content (currently purchased as well as interested products and future downloads) regardless of what version of Poser or other 3D app you have.  An early alpha version to test basic database structure should be available next week.

I have P7 installed and the discs for P5 & 6 floating around somewhere.  And since DS is free I could install that as well.

Feel free to site mail me for more info. :)
