Hi All

I'm totally confused how this works (See below). I have the 'Magnetize Clothing' magnets and not sure what ones to use on what. they are numbered 1-9. How do you find what Poser has allocated to what clothing?

Many Thanks

Apply the appropriate* "Magnetize to V4" pose, found in the "DAZ's Victoria 4Magnetize Clothing" pose folder, to the newly conformed/fitted clothing item.

*NOTE:
In Poser, the appropriate "Magnetize to V4" pose is the one with the same number suffix as that of the Victoria4 figure to which the clothing is conformed. For example, if the clothing is conformed to a Victoria4 figure that Poser has labeled "Victoria4 2", then the "Magnetize to V4 2" pose should be used.

think it means if you only have 1 V4 in your scene you only use the first magnet

if you then load a second V4 into the same scene, conforme her cloths then use magnet 2 on this V4 and so on.

I might be wrong, but that is how it reads to me.

Hi Jax

Ok, so if i fit 4 pieces of clothing to V4 do i use the same magnet on each piece

Yes, I think so from what I can make out form the V4 read me and from the FAQ at Daz3D (direct link to the topic)

OK, I will try that, Thanks. Not sure of the benifits of the Magnets, I thought once the clothing was conformed to the figure that was it.

BTW good weather in Birmingham, nice up here in Lincolnshire 😉

Ye, I haven't really played with the magnets yet myself so don't know what they do. I just conform and leave it at that, though I do know some certain clothes tell you to apply the magnets, I don't have any yet though, More fun to look forward to LOL

Weather...

Just had some rain but seems to have stopped for now, though the wind is starting to pick up now ( I can hear it whistling past the corner of the block (Live on the 11 floor)... Ho spoke to soon about the rain LOL

then the limit is 9 vickies in a single scene. more fun than a barrel of monkies.

I think I'd rather have a barrel of monkies than even try loading 9 Vickies into Poser...... My system couldn't handle 9.... it can only just cope with 3 LOL

The magnets on V4 act like JCM's on V3, but work better. Magnetising them to each piece of clothing makes the clothing work better as well (in 99.9% of cases).
To make Poser work correctly, you should load V4, make sure she is selected, then load a piece of clothing and use magnetise (the first magnetise that has no numbers). Re-select V4, then load another piece of clothing and magnetise using the same one as before. Etc, etc.
Always make sure you have V4 selected before you load each piece of clothing, as this makes crosstalk work correctly.
