Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 26 1:43 pm)
P4 doesn't do displacement so the displacement node will not be saved. P4 doesn't have a materials room just a materials drop down in the render menu. It has texture, bump, transparency and IIRC, reflection.
You say the nodes are present in the poses. I assume you mean these are mat poses rather than figure poses. You can convert your mat poses from P4 to P5 using mat pose edit.

The site has some good tutorials.
Yes, they are mat poses.
I don't need to convert them from P4 to P5, they are already P5.Just wanted to be sure if they can be used by someone using P4.But from your explanation I draw the conclusion, they canot be used.
Thank you for your help!
PS : I have the mpe, but I have never used it.I feel much more confortable making my mats by hand. It's more secure. But I will have a look through the tutorials, maybe I will change my mind...

Hi!
If I have saved the nodes from Poser 5 in some poses (altought the nodes are not used), those poses can be used in Poser 4.03?Those poses are using the usual disp maps, bump maps, and textures and transparencies, nothing fancy, just that the nodes are present in the poses.
Thank you in advance!
Best regards!
