tresamie ( ) posted Thu, 29 November 2007 at 12:15 AM

What an incredible group of entries we have this month!  Thanks for making this a great challenge.  It's now time to close the entries and let the voting begin!  The votingwill be in this thread, after this entry.  You get to choose your 3 favorite entries, giving each of them 3, 2 or 1 points.  Remember, you are choosing an entry, not an  artist.  If someone has posted more than one entry, you need to indicate which is yourchoice.

Your vote should look something like this:

Double - "Cross" - 3 points
Three - "Little Pigs" - 2 points
Night - "Day" - 1 point

Feel free to nominate Honorable Mentions or make comments.

  1. marren - a new beginning - 3 pts
  2. valerie ducom - angel of seasons - 2 pts
  3. denger - trippin' on sunset - 1 pt

and most certainly a honarable mention for 'mood of casper' by valerie's cousin - going to be a great artist soon.

i liked all the entries and had, as usual, a lot of trouble to decide.

**Wonderful work, Everyone!

I think this was a somewhat difficult Challenge theme, so it was both a surprise and a thrill to see what each of you created.
A few of these 'tychs really stand out:

marren                  ~ A New Beginning ~                            3
helanker                 Simple Scene in 3                                 2

TomDart                Start to Finish                                         1**

**
Deserving of Honorable Mention:

mansco          'Perfect Strangers'               Like an opera hall and love the asymmetry!
Djavad           'Recto-Versant' diptych        Terrific use of distortion & opposing perspectives!**

I love what you did with the gradient background on these, Gun.  They seem symbolic, too!

Thanks, glad you like it, and the symbolism gave itself with the flame I used. I am rather content with it myself, hope it is not to late to post it.

Gunsan @ : looks like a catolic cross and this composition is awesome ! The problem I have now, I maked my vote, I cannot change... or yes?

gunsan ( ) posted Tue, 04 December 2007 at 6:52 AM

Val, I don't care so much about votes. I was late, it is my fault.
But I will put it in my gallery tomorrow, that is good too.
So don't care!

Hugs - Gun

**Congratulations, koosievantutte -- yours was perhaps the most original entry -- very creative.  This was a tough subject -- (a Challenge should be, right?) -- and everyone did an amazing job.

The December Challange looks like it will be fun!**
