KindredSpirits.jpg 9/12/99 Created using Poser4, Bryce4, Rhino3D 1.1 & PSP 6. Just recieved Zygote's Costume Shop CD in the mail the other day and had to build an image that has been in my head for quite some time. If you look closely you'll be able to see several faces/creatures in the cloud. Comments? -Robert p.s. by the way, my site has been updated with a new prop for poser. SquaredCircle.gif Comments?

The whole thing is just.... beautiful! Was it the Navy that but those 'images' in your head... yeah right. I love the moon glow and stars.... real mood setting. Bill

Thanks guys... Anton - Gallery? Are you referring to PFO's? It's already been submitted to Zygote for the monthly showcase (Sept). Bill - Actually, it is in part due to the Navy. When I reported to my first ship (5.5 years ago) people had a hard time pronouncing my last name, and I was given the nickname "Whiz". With that, on several occasions I was referred to as "the wizard". Since then this image has been brewing upstairs...

RiversEdge.jpg It sure feels good to get a weekend where I can actually render some of the scenes that are lying around on my HD. Guess I can thank the skies over Hawaii for not being so bright today. Rainy days sometime bring great things. -Robert

I love these pictures! They seem to express a unity, the backgrounds and scenes are part of the message...very nicely done!

Great work Rob:) I especially like the tormented faces in the roiling cloud, I can damn near see them move! The Rivers edge is excellent too, a great composition. There is one thing that's nagging at my subconscious mind. The man's pose seems a bit...off?! I can't quite put my finger on it and I could be wrong, but it kinda seems to me that his right arm is too...light. It's like the axe doesn't weigh anything. I know, it's a minute detail, but it just kept nagging at me:) Oh, and the hills seem a bit...smooth?! Aww, to hell with it. Ignore me, it's a great pic. I'm just being a pain in the ass! Keep up the great work:) Regards Ronin

Lorriane - thank you for the kind words. bloodsong - yes the faces/creatures were intentional. They were created using the KPT3 pluggin that ships with Bryce4. Ronin - Thanks for your comments. Constructive critisizm, in any capacity always helps build the skills of an artist. If nothing else, it'll train me to look for those inconsistancies (sp?). The "BeastMaster" has large lats which would cause his arm to flare out, but perhaps I could of added a little "gravity" to it. -Robert
