Hi...its me again sort of resurfacing after being lost in "Pro show Gold" for the last couple of weeks. Heres one I posted tonight, all pictures from my RR gallery, music by Massive Attack.
Theres an  A / V competition coming up next week in the local camera club, I was going to enter this one of Scotland & the "Around Italy" show posted before, what do you think?

Thanks for any feedback.
Cheers

It was very nice of aangus to notify us about his,

"Pro show Gold" ... competition [entry] "[Around] Scotland"

Very nice ... i can see that a lot of work went into making the presentation.

Some points to consider ...

  1. the playback doesn't give any progress indicator (% done or pix i of j, ...)

  2. some (but not all) of the images indicated the location -- there should be a
location given with all images or none.

  3. on my playback, the music had a lot of distortion -- then again, since I don't
know the group's music, maybe that was normal.

  4. I didn't expect to need to download the photodex presenter module --
in fact, for my netscape browser, it didn't download at all -- I had to use
internet exploter to see the show.

Sorry, don't have the plug-in, couldn't play it. I generally only play internet A/V files if they use a standard player like Quicktime or WindowsMedia. Thanks for stopping in Aangus, you've been missed (see the latest DITI).

Greetings to aangus,

Earlier I said that the music in your presentation had some distortion.

However, I found that after replacing the speakers associated with
my desktop PC, the sound was much better.

Sorry that I indicated trouble where there wasn't any.

No probs Martin, the thing is that with Massive Attack you sometimes cant tell, they like to turn the Gain right up!
I see what you mean about the titles, I 've taken the offender off now ...ta. About the progress indicator, I decided to leave that one out, the constrains I have are 5 to 6 min so the length of slideshow is sort of known in advance (and because I couldn't be bothered!).
Cheers.
