Subject: Getting Testures Concerted

Greetings all.
I have a need for some help and not sure what to do to get it.
I have many of the Mil3 characters and textures for Mike/David/Vicki that I can not use yet due to no money to get the computer to run them on (A LONG STORY AT BEST). Suffice it to say I am still stuck working with Poser 4 and the Mil2 figures. I am on an older Mac and need some of these Mil3 Character Textures converted. As is common the texture converter app is for Windows use which leaves me out in the cold so to speak. I In the past I have had permission from the likes of Aery Soul to convert for instance Alice tex for V2. I was wondering if there is a legal way to get the same done with my V3 & M3 textures?
I can prove I own these textures in any way you needed as long as the person(s) doing the conversion can make the same proofs available if that is the way to go about this.
Any ideas or help would be appreciated. It would be an incredible service for DAZ or other vendors to offer these conversions for folks like me (and I can't believe there aren't more of us out there with the same needs!).
Anyone interested in helping me please let me know!
Thanks.

There is a way you can do this, provided the person who converts them for you has the original textures also.   Probably.

In truth, it's a legal minefield.  I would very strongly suggest you contact the texture creators before doing anything else.  Who knows? They may even be able to provide what you need.

Yeah..I thought of that and amy tring it. The textures I am refering to I purchased at DAz so I just dropped their Customer Service an email asking the same thing. I wish the texture converter was also available for the Mac...it would have made all this so much easier!  :(

it's weird that nobody remapped v2 to take v3 tex. hoad remapped posette to v3, daz remapped m3 to m2 and v3 to v2.
