Cool, thanx for that, I use DivX a lot but have never upgraded to the converter and stuff, terrific!

You need a serial number.  I know the following link says for "MAC" but it's the link that allows you to enter your email for them to send you a serial number.  So I would suggest using this link and not going directly to the download page.

Been using it for years, less than $20 for the pro and I lost count of version upgrades. The only one time purchase software with constant free upgrades. I bought around 2001, never had to pay anything again. Most of your DVD players have Divx in them now.

Already grabbed it for me and the wife. (I figured having two serial numbers would be handy..;)

Thanks thefixer. I got 98SE so was hoping it would so I could get the SN now for it. Well like it does not cost much to buy and if all upgrades are free if you buy it then it's really cheap.

According to the Windows page, given above, the software installer requests your email address to send the serial number email, so there's no special hoops to jump through on the download pages.
