Hi all,
When I run 3dsmax 5.1 I get the following error

DLL <C:3dsmax5pluginsPzrFor3ds3X.dlo.>
is not made for this version of the program - not loading

I have installed full legal version 4 poser and legal Poser 4 Pro Pack.
when I install poser 4 propack into 3dstudioMax3 the hosting function works fine.

Why do I get the error when start running max 5.1?
I installed poser 4 pro pack in there as well.
Shouldnt Poser 4 Pro Pack work with my max 5.1?
do i need some kind of PzrFor3ds5X.dlo?

Also If I upgrade to poser 6 or7 can I host poser6 or7 files in Max 5.1? using the poser 4 pro pack or do I need a new pro pack version?

The next Poser Pro Pack will be 7 Pro.  Note the 'will be'.  It was slated to be released 'this' fall, has been moved up to 'this winter', and suspect it will be here 'next spring'. :)

If the Poser 4 Pro Pack doesn't work with 3DS 5.1, you are out of luck in that regard.  You can export Wavefront .obj files from Poser and import into 3DS then retexture or use GestureMax in the interim.

C makes it easy to shoot yourself in the foot. C++ makes it harder, but when you do, you blow your whole leg off.

The old plug-in only worked with Max 3.1 & Max 4.2.
