Have a good two weeks - and i am looking forward to what you make of the various places you visit both personally and photographically :)

Have a great time and yes you will be missed by me and many others.  Your knowledge and photography skill is excellent.  I just glad I had the pleasure of meeting you and seeing you do what you do best! Very strange angles the just work!

6 countries in 2 weeks... meh. IMNSHO you're better off spending that time in 1 or maybe 2 countries, now you're just constantly on the move without really seeing anything. Sure you'll see the famous places, but that's it. You can say you were here, but you won't even have the stamps in your passport to prove it.

Having said that: have fun :)

At 3DGuy, I know what you're saying. If it were up to me I'd be a billionaire and live life out of the Hilton one month at a time, each month in a different city. But I'm not so I'll just run around like a headless chicken and try to do my best.

I really only wanna see certain things in each city so 2 days in each some be ok, but could you order me a new pair of feet for when I get back?

I'm gonna be in full tourist mode so won't have too much time to set shots up and wait for the sunlight it be right. Hopefully I'll get to go back one day and 'pay more attention' to each place and do a 'decent' photographic job of it...

And you're right - LOL - it's all about the stamps!!! And the badges to sew onto my army jacket!

Thanx to everyone else for the wishes!

There are no stamps. Borders are open in Europe these days. So maybe you'll get an entry stamp the country you land in and maybe one when you fly out again, but that's it.  So actually you're going to see 6 cities in 2 weeks.. not 6 countries

Nope, I'm South African so my passport will get checked and stamped at every Border...

And Yip it's 6 countries and 13 cities. Some with 2 day stops and some with day overs :)

You don't understand. There basically are no borders with customs within Europe. I can drive all the way from The Netherlands to the southern tip of Italy without ever showing my passport because there is noone to show it to. It's all part of the Schengen treaty. "Free passage of goods and people".

Just checked the link you gave. There will be a border check from the UK to the European mainland. So the only borderchecks you'll see are on day 1 and day 16 traveling to and from the UK to the mainland. But the last time I crossed there I didn't get the stamp :P
I do hope you're going to put up some photo journal when you get back eh :)

Have a great time - Merry Christmas - R

And every one said, 'If we only live,
We too will go to sea in a Sieve,---
To the hills of the Chankly Bore!'
Far and few, far and few, Are the lands where the Jumblies live;
Their heads are green, and their hands are blue, And they went to sea in a Sieve.
