I wanted to thank all of you who replied to my post and the gifts that many of you sent and offered.  You made my christmas a real one for the first time in many years... so many beautiful hearts.
I cannot say thank you enough...
Yours, most sincerely

You're welcome.  I hope you'll stay in touch with all of us here.

I'm still working on the vampyre stuff,  it will have a " Van Helsing "  look to it.  The first will be the flying brides for V3,  wings and all.  I should have it finished by March.

Seth,

My apologies for having missed the original post, Christmas is a pretty busy time for me and I'm afraid that I just don't keep up with reading the message bases quite like I should.

I'm glad the community responded and replaced some of the items you were looking for, and I hope this was a very merry Christmas for you indeed.

However I would like to make certain you have a very happy new year as well, so I'd like to offer you something as well to make you New Year just a bit brighter.

I've dabbled quite a bit in digital modeling, and though I haven't released any packages commercially here at the community I will be doing so soon enough.   I'm already working on my first commercial project which should be finished shortly, so I'd like for you to pick my second commercial project for me, and beta test it for me.  You pick the subject, I'll model and texture it.

Are you still using Poser 4 by chance?

thanks again to all... and yes, I will stay in touch with all of you...an honor.
Stepdad, thank you for your great offer.  And, yes I am still using poser 4.
my favorite things to render deal with gothic themes, vamps, dark clothing... that type of thing.
Glad to see so many military guys and gals in here doing these things... makes the heart happy.

Bless you all and I hope the new year brings you all you could hope for.

Hi Seth

Thanks,  for helping me too.   After seeing your gallery,  It's motivated me to come to terms with things and hopefully be able to move on and start creating art again.

Cheers

That should be interesting, never done any vampire or goth modeling - this sounds like it's going to be rather fun. If you have something specific on your wish list just let me know, if not I'll poke around and see what I can come up with for ideas. My only concern is texturing, it might be a bit more difficult, I don't have Poser 4 so I have no way to setup the texture files in Poser 4 format, but I guess if nothing else I can send along the jpg's and let you take it from there.

Also it would helpful to know which characters you have / use most so I can model for the correct characters.  I have references for most all of them so it shouldn't be a problem.

I like the vampires in the movie "underworld"... or "queen of the damned"... leather.. I use michael 3 and victoria 3 as well as stephanie petite...  modern day vamps are my favorite...

again, I thank you for your most kind offer...

Hello Seth,

Since I am complete new to 3D modeling / art, I am afraid I can only offer you support at the moment.

The few things I made so far are far from perfect, but I am learning =)
Hopefully I can offer some things in the future.
Good to see some brothers in arms around here.

Jitse,

Good to see so many brothers here... and beiieve me when I say that just the support that I have received from so many of you has been the best gift I could have gotten.  I am not all that good with modelling, even though I've used poser for over 4 years.  I tend to put scenes together using other peoples models and then do some simple postwork with Photoshop..
it is a release, and has given me a lot of pleasure.

Take care Brother
Seth

Seth, wanted to touch base with you and let you know the bodysuit is almost done, just need to get it rigged and some more detail textures worked out.  Mostly I need to add a zipper texture and a few other goodies for the open and closing morphs.  I'm working on the overcoat and armoured bodice at the moment, next will be the guns and holsters.

I did a couple of quick renders just to give you an idea as to what the suit will look like when finished, this is actually the V4 version but there will be a V3 version as well, also with working front zipper and opening/closing morphs.

Here's a shot from the other side, still a bit of detail and cleaning up work to be done but so far I'm fairly pleased with the results.

barryjeffer ( ) posted Sat, 05 January 2008 at 6:41 PM

this is great.... man, I can only wish I had the talent or patience to do things like this... and I want to thank you again for doing it.

I've had a couple real bad days and the way I've been treated here has helped more than you know....

It's good to still know there are buddies and brothers out there.... real ones.
