Subject: Plug in/add on for photoshop?

Hi!
I have spent awhile getting to grips with the basics of photoshop.
I have seen quite a few 'add ons' filters and such.

I just wondered if any one had any advice for a newbie on a good easy to use first add on (that doesnt cost the earth!)

I have photoshop CS2,
I'm looking for metal, glass type effects.
Thank you :)

I don't know what your budget is, but IMO Alien Skin makes the best plug ins. You can try them before buying.  And the support is first rate.

Liquid Metal by Autofx is imho the best to create metallic effects

Don't underestimate the power of the Layer Styles! With these you can add glass, metal, marble effects to anything. Also there are loads of tutorials about these effects on the Internet - do a search for it on Google and you will have fun for hours!
