I've been trying to get my hands on this for an image I'm working on. Pidjy's website link no longer works, so does anybody have a copy of the terrain map he used for the planet rings please?
Cheers
Joe

would bee nice to have those files available again from that thread.

There are several people from that thread show are still active here, so I'm sure they must have them.

I see a sound

mmh, don't have that anymore, unfortuantely.. and i thought you needed the plating greebles thing, not the planet ring.

but it wouldn't be too hard to create it in bryce, as you well know. start up PS, my friend :)

I have found Pidjy's  low-Tek-Pack , his  street-pack and a Bryce-mat ( Volume_spacemats )  I don't know if the last one belongs to Pidjy . Any one who know's about the spacemats ? Oh and i found a folder named  " Particulate Cloud Tut in Bryce "  that comes from Pidjy  if i remember right  (See picture ) and i know that i have those " planet rings " laying around some-where . I hope Pidjy is ok. Sophie .

I just tried to reproduce it. It turned ouit OK, though when I flipped the lattice, it changes the direction in which the light hits the rocks and makes the quads look like quads.

I need a couple hours sleep and I'll get one "Rockin"(snicker). Post it as a Bryce 5 file.
I'll work out the flipped light issue.

Zhann had made a nice one too, her site is down though.

I originally D/L'd pidjy's freestuff, but not the rock belt thing.

Be back in awhile.

BMP bump applied to a lattice quad, (same Method Pidjy used). I tried a noise filter and it looked too uniformed. Then I took a star field I use frequently that I generated in Universe Image creator. Filled the selected Quad area and used that for a bump map.

Uploading the BR5 file to my site right now, once it's done I'll post a link.
I tried onpening the file in BR6 and exporting it as an obj file, It cuts down the detail too much.

Nice, I didn't have pidjy's version of this, just the LowTekPack and the StreetPack.  I look forward to playing with this.. hrumph, I mean testing it - of course.

Lol.
