***Possibly this topic already had been played here, but equally I want to express my nuisance with regard to the following topic.
In today's day visiting the general gallery, I see that an artist had carried out to all the works the same comment, sign that she had carried out a single text and then she hit it. I find this a total it lacks of respect for the author of the work and it stops who carry out the comments, in my case ` like in the one of many other artists of Hispanic speech, the work is double for that have to think of a language and to write in the other one.
Who proceed this way perhaps they don't know the ethical word, not my intention to bother anybody but I leave outlined the topic....!!!
Thank you...!!! #:O)

A lot of people go and post to  as many images as they can in the hopes that the person will reciprocate and view their gallery and post comments, thus generating views and comments on their own pictures.

Perhaps those whom get those kinds of comments and it bothers them, could send a private message to people whom make such generic comments and say something to this effect:

"Thanks for commenting, but I was really disappointed when I saw you make the same comment on 20+ other images today. I ended up feeling worse then if there was no comment at all."

Why would anyone want to generate generic comments on their pictures?
The "Today's Most Commented" are usually not the best pictures posted anyway IMO.

Some folks aren't very good are putting things down in print.  However, they want to contribute and when they finally come up with something, its easier for them to simply cut-and-paste that.  Sort of like using the word "Surge", or phrases like "think out-of-the-box"  and "it's the right thing to do" etc.  Plutom

I'll hold my hand up to that, with the result that a lot of my comments are things like "Very nice!" or "Great image!", I must have used those phrases hundreds of times, but at least I never cut and paste, it's typed fresh every time. A lot of the time I find I don't have much to say about an image, other than that I like it. I tend to avoid those "WOW this is a wonderful, fabulous work that puts Rembrandt to shame" type comments, except for those very very rare cases where it's true. But judging by other peoples effusive comments, I hope my comments are not seen as too much of a letdown.

I think we should be allowed to delete comments that are made to our images :)

Initially when the site changed to php for a few days coding allowed us access to the delete comment button for comments made on our images. They changed it after a couple of days. I think they should have left it.
