Subject: First Time Flagged

restif ( ) posted Sat, 05 January 2008 at 4:46 PM · edited Wed, 06 November 2024 at 8:37 AM

I've been posting on Renderosity for a long time and this is the first time I got flagged for nudity, the odd thing is there was no nudity in the pic.   I reposted it with a different thumb but I am not certain why I would be flagged. The character, Adrea, was wearing a body suit. She was barefoot but beyond that I am mystified.
Question, if someone flags you image, for what ever reason, is it automatically pulled?

I've enjoyed all the wealth of knowledge and creativity this site and appreciate all the help I've picked up here. Sorry for the small irritation of this post.

The new link to the render is here:

I think its simple ..if your not sure you need to tag nudity ..
You might know shes wearing it "i sure cant tell" but we dont know
and to me it looks alike a nude upshot...
So next time you might want to ad INFO and say she is wearing a suit but its not seen that well..
And tag it any way for nudity ...

Its a nice image doh ! 😉

Thanks I'll keep an eye out for that. Just irritating as I've seen so many more blantant thumbs on the site.
Thanks for taking time to respond, forgive my irritation with this.

just click all the check boxes to be safe (probably get more views that way too haha)  and on this site just being able to see an inch of butt or breast means nudity. so even if your figure is wearing a bikini you need to mark nudity. just the same if your pic has a weapon of some sort you should include a violance label to it.

Thanks, I'll be sure to do so.

just to confirm, check nudity for more views. I looked at the above link and it didn't appear to have any clothes in it.

WELL actualy doing that might get your image pulled too ...
Tagging nudity and or violence etc et when its not needed is just as against the TOS as not tagging when needed..
So you advice "just TAG all" is not good i know you might say it with a smile "joke" in mind.
But its just as wrong as not doing it at all..... 😉

It's very possible that because of the angle of the render, the bodysuit is not readily noticable. Also, there is a great deal of buttocks showing there and "bare butts" even with "thong undies" are considered nudity.

So I would personally put a nudity flag on that one.

Using flags that are not appropriate for the image will get you into trouble because that just negates the usefullness of the nudity/violence flags.

If you aren't sure of whether to flag something or not, take a few minutes to click on "Members' and "Who's Online" and see what staff members are currently online.  Send a Site Mail to one. It doesn't even have to be a Poser mod. Any mod/admin will be able to help you.

Is adding a nudity tag when in doubt some sort of a bad thing? I thought an image with nudity tag pot more attention

Very nice render :)

Restif, please make sure your email address is current, as it appears you didn't receive notification from the staff member who put your image on hold (NOT deleted) explaining the situation. Thanks.
