Hello,  I'm desperately seeking a prop of a bag of weed for my hippie render.   I have been looking, and can't find one anywhere.  I've seen a couple of "bong" props here on R'osity, but no props of "stuff" to put in the bongs... ideally, I'm looking for a prop that is a clear plastic baggie with some clumpy green stuff in it.

Additionally, if anyone knows of any other props like hand-rolled cigarettes, I'd love to know where my hippies can get their grubby, patchoulli smelling hands on them, too.

My render is, of course, illustrating the danger of drug use, for educational purposes only, no hippies will be harmed in the rendering, etc...

a while back UVDan made a joint prop. You might want to send him a site-mail to see if ut's still available. (I used it in one of the images in my "juvies" seriesin the gallery, if you want to see it) But as far as a bag of weed, I've never seen one of those.

Heh.  Neither have I... that stuff's illegal!

Seriously, though, if there are any intrepid modellers out there that would like to give modelling such a thing a stab, I for one would be most appreciative.... I don't know a thing about modelling, I'm willing to bet the "baggie" portion of said prop would be a difficult thing to create.

I can't even find a picture of a crack pipe to try to make one from primitives! It is a glase tube of some sort I think?

Thanks, Steve. The funnel at top of the crack pipe is a more complicated thing then I expected... whole thing simple enough to make with Poser primitives though. I had figured it was a pipe with a hole at top for fine metal mesh or something.

3D Commune-Cooler has a prop of a joint and a bag for the weed. No actual clipings. They come into Poser Huge. just size down. Sometimes the joint if up very high, no pun ment. just dial it down to eye level. You have to size both seperate. Just screach for Coolers freebees.

Heh, I just found that one yesterday... it's a good prop.  Yeah, you do have to scale it, no biggie, though...  I like the fact the "tobacco" is a seperate material zone than the paper, so I was able to turn the "tobacco" green.

I do appreciate everybody's help, I think Steve here has got me squared away with the elusive "Holy Grail" I was looking for, and I found a few "joint" models along the way!

I gotta model some buds sometime.
