Subject: Rain effect?

I have a 3D scene created in 3D studio Max. now i want the picture to make it look like it's raining. I tried Spray but for some reason it doesn't look right. I was wondering if there was a way to make this type of effect after the picture was rendered in photoshop? Any tutorials? Thanks Member
