Not sure if it exports yet, but it's a good start.

Dryad is a free program (Mac OSX only, Linux version coming) that builds 3d trees based on realistic tree geometries and properties.

I downloaded the Mac version but found that my trees could only grow in a very limited range of terrains. Also when I went to add a leaf all the existing leaves fell off. ;)
