Subject: CrazyTalk?

I need to set talk to my movies. There are two alternatives.

  1. A text to speech engine.

  2. Record my own voice and alter it to different voices with some morphing filter.

I have look at CrazyTalk at DAZZ. Its looks good but I dos not understand watt it contains.

Has some one here experience about this app?

Is there a real voice filter?

Is there a text to speech engine?

How good is this devises? Vat more useful goodies is there in this app?

Are there any more alternatives on the market?

I have Crazy Talk, but that only imports a jpg, and then you add the points to the face and add the sound and it follows the points....I actually like it, and it is fun to play with, but not true animation.  No, they do not have a text to speech.  Talk to Speech is here at Rendo, heard that was good or in poser 7 the speech is good there also.

Have you thought about mimic?

Yes I have an old version. But I must have talk to mimic.
"Talk to Speech is here at Rendo" may be good if I buy some realistiv voices.

I haven't tried it yet, but I have the voice alteration software from this link.  If it works (if, if, if), it seems like it should be nice.

Cage can be an opinionated jerk who posts without thinking.  He apologizes for this.  He's honestly not trying to be a turkeyhead.

Cage had some freebies, compatible with Poser 11 and below.  His Python scripts were saved at archive.org, along with the rest of the Morphography site, where they were hosted.

Yes you will need to buy some voices, or use your own .wav.  It is alot easier, trust me to just buy the voices.  I was worth all the issues.  Sharen

Is the "Talk to Speech" here at Renderosity. If so, do you have a link to it?
Also, Sharion, Where did you get your voices? I have Crazy Talk and I really like it but i would really like to get some more voices for it.

have you tried music sequencing/alteration software to modify the sounds? I think there was a thread that had something like this before, they mentioned Sonic Forge and something else...it was a while ago. I will post a link here it if I find it. Wish me luck
