Attached Link: 7D Features

hehe- urm - sorry for fooling you with the title - for those who might need reassuring after reading that, it is a spoof... a well thought out spoof, but a spoof nonetheless 😉

Yeah ...

I liked the media list ... including ...

5.25 inch floppy
8 inch floppy (in MB-7Db only)
CD/DVD (in MB-7Db only)
High-speed paper tape to maintain compatibility with Colossus
Punch cards

Paper tape and punch cards.  LOL

BTW, except for XD, I have actually worked with each of those media.

The first computer I ever programmed, the Lincoln Labs TX-0 [scroll down
to the heading 'Computers'], was programmed with 6-level fully chadded
paper tape.  BTW, the image is not 1958 vintage -- the tape drive shown
towards the right was not added until one or two years later.

Why did they omit 7-track and 9-track open reel tape drives from the 7D
features list???

You can see examples of 7-track drives at the "The Columbia University Computer Center in 1965".

OTOH, I wouldn't buy a camera that reads my mind as this camera equiped with ...

MindProbe technology. MindProbe scans your brain, looking for
...  that signal an imminent shutter-press. ...  the shutter delay is
actually measured in negative time.

-- After all, it would be too unreliable and prone to lockups if it read my mind.

Thanks, inshaala ... keep up the good work.

p.s. The use of floppy disks is not that outlandish ... does anyone
remember the Sony Mavica? -- The earliest models recorded mages
onto 3.5 inch floppy disks.

The first thing that made me laugh was (last line)

Quote - 2. XDR Mode: Every odd pixel is underexposed by 3 stops. Every even pixel is exposed as per the meter. The two images are combined in camera to produce an extra 3 stops of dynamic range at 6MP. This mode is especially useful in law enforcement, where photographers often have to photograph shady people.

Thanks for the chuckle.

Question the question. Answer the question. Question the answer...

I wish I knew what I was gonna say :oP

-regarding the satallite shutter release option

How long have we been waiting for this simple addition to the feature-set? Canon have had this functionality in their DSLRs for years.
